What does remote working entail?

Remote working means that your workspace is not tied to a fixed location, it is hybrid working. Instead of a traditional office, you work from home, a coworking space, a coffee shop or even from a tropical island. As long as you have a reliable Internet connection, you can be productive anywhere in the world. Remote working gives you the freedom to arrange your life on your terms, while still growing professionally and advancing your career.

How many days a week can you work remotely?

It depends on your employer/client, your type of work and your own preferences. Some companies offer options for hybrid working where you work in the office a few days a week and the rest remotely. Other positions are completely remote, allowing you to decide where and when you work. As a freelancer or entrepreneur, you have complete freedom to arrange your work week as you see fit. The important thing is to find a balance between productivity and relaxation, so that you can take full advantage of the benefits of remote work.

What are the advantages of working from abroad?

What are the challenges of remote working?

With the right resources and preparation, a workation will run smoothly. In doing so, make sure you have a suitable workspace and a reliable Internet connection. So that you can work productively and efficiently and stay in touch with colleagues remotely. If you work from a tropical resort, there are many temptations you have to resist, for example, you will see plenty of examples on social media of digital nomads in a hammock under a palm tree. Provide a daily routine, professional work environment and clear separation between work and private time.
