From October 9 through 15, 2026, you can join us for a workation at a beautiful villa. With a small group (including myself), we’ll have this fantastic location all to ourselves for a week to work remotely, socialize, and relax.

What do you get?
You’ll have your own bedroom and bathroom in the villa. There are several indoor and outdoor spaces where you can work in peace. Of course, there’s reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. There are two swimming pools, a volleyball court, mini-golf, and an amazing view. The villa is surrounded by nature, so it’s also a great place for hiking. All food and drinks are included, from breakfast through dinner. The chef prepares delicious paella dinners, and we’ll enjoy some great barbecues. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

How does the group workation work?
We’ll be staying together in a fantastic villa in Spain. It’s located near Xativa, so you can fly into Valencia or Alicante (starting at €181 for a round-trip ticket—the earlier you book, the cheaper your flight). You can fly from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Brussels, and Düsseldorf, among other cities. You’ll need to arrange your own flight and transfer. However, we’ll set up a group chat where you can coordinate a shared transfer with others.
On weekdays, you can go about your own business, but nothing is required—everything is optional. If you’d like to just relax this week or go out on your own, that’s fine, too. There are a number of group activities at the villa that you can join if you’d like.

Who’s coming along?
Women, men, gender-neutral, young, old—everyone is welcome. When I started Working Remotely four years ago, I organized several group workations, and they were always amazing. Many people were eager to do this again—and so was I. Experience has shown that it’s always a fun mix of different personalities. On several occasions, beautiful friendships and business collaborations have blossomed here.

That date doesn’t work for me—when is the next one?
I’m organizing this workation as a one-time event. That’s because I really enjoy going on a workation with a fun group, but I don’t have enough time to do this regularly. So don’t miss your chance from October 9 through 15, 2026.
Who else is coming along on this workation?
From past trips, I know the groups are always very diverse, with a mix of men and women. Ages range from 25 to 55. These are people in all kinds of different situations: singles, moms, dads, solo travelers, and friends. Everyone is welcome. Some are more introverted, while others are extroverted. It’s precisely that diversity of people that always makes for an incredibly fun week.
I’m an entrepreneur and would like to brainstorm about my business—is that possible?
Absolutely! The workation is the perfect place for that. In a relaxed setting, you can talk with other entrepreneurs about the challenges you’re facing and brainstorm together. I really enjoy doing this myself, given my work coaching new online entrepreneurs. This setting is especially a great opportunity to bounce ideas off like-minded people about your business.
Can I claim these expenses as business expenses?
If you’re self-employed, some of these expenses may be claimed as business expenses. Check with your accountant to see what the rules are. And please let me know by email if you have any questions about this regarding the invoice I’ll be sending you.
I can’t work remotely yet, but I would really like to join. Is that possible?
Even if you cannot work remotely yet, you are more than welcome. It is actually a great way to chat with others who are already working remotely. You can learn a lot from that. You will experience firsthand what it is like to work remotely. Optionally, you can also choose my coaching program during this week, in which I teach you everything about working from abroad, so that you can do this in the future as well.
I have a full-time job—can I still participate?
Absolutely. There are always a number of participants who have full-time jobs. So far, this has been the case for half of the registrants in this edition as well. During the day, you can go about your normal work as usual, and we’ll hold the group activities only after your workday is over.
When can I book my plane tickets?
The trip is guaranteed to take place, so as soon as you’ve booked your spot, you can book your plane tickets on your own.
