If you think of nature, tranquility and at the same time plenty of opportunity for all kinds of activities, then you are in the right place in Laax and Flims, where I went on a workout. Laax is a town in the Swiss region of Graub\u00fcnden, part of the district of Surselva. It is located on the right side of the country, close to Italy. <\/span><\/p>\n

On workation in Switzerland<\/b><\/h2>\n

The other day I was traveling to Switzerland for the first time, on workation. It is so close and yet I had never really been there before. Driving through it on transit doesn’t count I think. For this workation I was going to spend a week exploring Switzerland. That certainly worked out, and how. It is a beautiful country, with impressive nature, hospitable people and a lot to do. No less than 4 languages are spoken. Very nice when you sit on a terrace and hear all kinds of languages around you; German, French, Italian, English and then also the local languages and dialects. <\/span><\/p>\n

Fun activities to do in Laax<\/b><\/h2>\n

There is just a layer of snow in March, allowing you to ski and snowboard to your heart’s content. We could have done that, but we opted for sledding. That’s definitely not just for kids, we sledded down the mountain at full speed. After a hard day’s work, it was great to expend some energy on the slopes. A great way to switch from work to leisure. <\/span><\/p>\n
